Anyone catch the GMA interview with Jon Gosslin this morning where he claims "I depise her (Kate)" and " "I love Hailey more than Kate"?

After watching a blue zillion episodes, I was just starting to think maybe (maaaaayyyybbbbeee) Jon was right and Kate was a big problem in the relationship and then he comes out and states he despises the mother of his kids. Talk about needing therapy - I hope they are putting some money in a Dr Phil account for those little ones cause they are gonna need it more than college funds!

This just burns me up - even with all that money, once again the animals are the ones to suffer.

The Gosselins have dumped their dogs after several complaints of neglect to the Berks County Humane Society and at the same time are quoted as saying the dogs are part of the family. Are the kids next?

Little House on the prairie they are not I always felt a great deal of sadness for Jon, I did think that Kate brow beat him incessantly (but hey! he knew who she was when he married her and after 10 years of togetherness you would think he had clued in somewhat) BUT he has become a bit of a knucklehead of late........ At the end of the day, in light of all of this publicity, each one of his Children will have access to every deed and every word he has said.... the result cannot be a good thing and yet he continues !!

NEW YORK — "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is about to be rechristened "Kate Plus Eight."

That's the word from the TLC network, announcing Tuesday that its hit reality show will be adapting to changes in the Gosselin household, which for months has been disrupted by the split up of Jon and Kate.

I had the misfortune to see part of Jon Gosselin's interview with Larry King last evening. It appears that he has decided that the Children are being exploited and sent a cease and desist letter to TLC preventing further production.
He defended his right to cancel his permission (contract agreement) believing that the show was detrimental to the Children.... which wouldn't have been so curious, were it not on the heals of TLC's announcement that the show would be reformatted as 'Kate plus eight' with an addendum stating that Jon would be filmed, but on an odd occasion not per episode.

I said the misfortune at the opening of my post, because Jon came across as being rather bitter (understandable) yet vindictive and a bit of a sniveling victim really ! (Just my opinion, I rather believe Jon needs to grow up and stop publically airing all of his nasty little secrets which ultimately will hurt his children - grrrr!)

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The father of the children on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" says it's "not healthy" for his kids to continue appearing on the TLC reality show.

Jon Gosselin says he had "an epiphany one day" and realized his 5-year-old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins shouldn't be filmed at the family's Pennsylvania home while their parents are going through a divorce.

Gosselin's comments came during an hourlong interview on CNN's "Larry King Live" Thursday.

TLC network has shut down filming of the children on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" after receiving a cease-and-desist order from Gosselin.

In a statement, the network said production would remain suspended "pending further conversations" between both Gosselins. Filming not directly involving the kids is ongoing, TLC said Thursday.

"It appears that Jon's priority is Jon and his interests," his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, said in a statement on Thursday. "My priority remains our children and their well being."

Jon Gosselin says that though his family has earned $1 million for appearing on the show, he wants production "to stop completely." He told King that, in retrospect, he wishes his family hadn't done the show at all.

Gosselin's attorney, Mark Heller, also appeared on King's show Thursday.

"This man doesn't care about the money. He doesn't care about the show," Heller said of his client, adding that "the priority should be the well-being of the family."

Gosselin said he posted a sign outside the family home prohibiting TLC's production crew from entering or filming on the property.

Wed for a decade, the Gosselins filed for divorce in June, after weeks of reports of marital discord and infidelities, which both spouses denied. The couple made their separation official on a "Jon & Kate" episode seen by 10.6 million viewers.

But the series, which premiered two years ago, had originally clicked with viewers for its heartwarming look at the challenges of raising eight young children.

In her statement, Kate Gosselin said, "I'm saddened and confused by Jon's public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids."

Jon Gosselin denied participating in the Friday taping, telling King, "I don't know Kate's filming schedule.

CRAP - I missed the interview!! I knew I shoulda dvr'd it.

I find myself more on "Team Jon" than Team Kate these days. After watching so many of the old episodes all at once, it really does appear fame has changed her, especially after going on and on about how she must keep doing the show for the family. I always thought the kids were exploited but figured they had money set aside in trust funds (as there is no show without them) and TLC was following PA child labor rules. It now appears not.

Yes Kate is controlling and I applaud her for admitting it but she really does rag on Jon constantly and it appears he does ALOT of the work. Pumps the gas, fixes things, bathes the kids, dresses them, brushes their teeth, puts them to bed, loads 'em in the van, and actually plays with them. Kate only appears to cook and rarely touches them as I would expect a mom to do. She talks about all the laundry but also admits she has help in that area. It also bothers me she always refers to "her room". Were she and Jon separated in different bedrooms long ago?

I don't like the new eps that only showcase a few kids at a time (2 or 3). It gives the impression she cannot handle all 8 at once and that is what made the show fun. Watching 3 girls drink tea is utterly boring and things are much too staged for my liking. The Gosselins are taking advantage of the freebies fame offers (who of us gets such wonderful paid outings with the family?) then chides the public for reading tabloids. Hey the TLC crew is there, why not a couple magazine photogs, too? Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

While I enjoy watching the show, I hope it is cancelled and soon. The family is a trainwreck and its getting uglier each day which is detrimental to the children. Get them off the air and find some semblance of normalcy.

And I'm still mad about the dogs. Why couldn't Kate feed them herself? Also, it appears they had a cat because I saw a litterbox a few times. Did they dump it, too?

I did not see this on TV - I just caught it on CNN online, but Nancy Grace really tore into Jon....

Nancy Grace is a fiend but I watch her nightly I saw part of the interview and found myself cringing... I couldn't imagine talking to anyone like that OR being spoken to in that manner .... Rather shocking that she feels it's okay !

Anywho, last night' s Nancy Grace show opened with a story about Jon & Kate (I'm going to see if I can find a news report on it) In a nutshell, Kate claims that Jon took $230,000 from their joint bank account (leaving her with $1000) which means that she cannot pay her bills at this time. Jon states that he only took $22,000 his 10% or somesuch....

I cannot believe the depth that either of them will go to in order to publicly assassinate the other shocking and ugly and yet just at the start of what I am sure can only proceed downhill at a rapid rate.
