A rush to judgement is rather unfortunate, but how can a 3 mos old (10 - 15lb) infant fall4 ft ? One assumes, dropped - I hope the baby is fine !!

WLWT Report:

LIBERTY TWP. — A 3-month-old baby who fell four feet and initially had trouble breathing was flown to an area hospital early this morning, Sept. 4.

An ambulance called at 2:29 a.m. to the infant’s home in Liberty Twp. transported the baby to the ball fields at Kyles Station Road west of Interstate 75 to meet an AirCare medical helicopter, according to Butler County emergency dispatchers.

The child, who reportedly weighted between 10 and 15 pounds, was breathing on his or her own and was flown to Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center as a precaution, according to a dispatcher.

The helicopter landed at 3 a.m. and was in the air by 3:17 a.m.

No further information was immediately available.

This makes zero sense at all !!! Possibly the news reports are incorrect

Initially I figured 2:30 am, someone was holding baby and feeding them, possibly dropping them. But a bouncing chair is most certainly not 4 ft off the ground, unless it was on a pretty tall dresser or some such ????

I hate it when I read such stories ....

Update : WLWT reports :

A baby had to be flown to the hospital after falling from a chair in Liberty Township.
It happened at a home on Cartman Court around 2:30 a.m.
Officers said the 3-moth-old was in abouncing chair when it fell.
The child was taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.
