Ever heard of them? I'm growing them from seed. Had a friend give me seeds from his about 10 yrs ago and just came across. They are growing like weeds.

Dang common names:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonflower

Soooooo, what you're growing is a vine? Upright? The former will be some kind of Ipomoea. Many species of those do have alkaloid compounds that could have unpleasant results if consumed.

If it's an upright plant and it has pretty biggish leaves, it's probably a Datura. There are stories in the news every year about numbskull kids who try to get high by ingesting the seeds and dying instead. http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5233a2.htm

Nonetheless, they can bear gorgeous fragrant blooms (sometimes bat pollinated, even). I have a variegated Brugmansia (very close relative; most obvious difference is that the Brugmansia blooms face down, those of Datura face out) that I've overwintered for two years now. When it's in bloom, the fragrance is fantastic!

If you're not growing one of those two, well..... pictures!

Wow! These have started from seeds and have the first shoots of leaves out. Very long and pointy...Still about maybe 2 inches tall.
I had never seen nor heard of them. I will let you know how they start to take off. Are they a vining plant? I haven't read the links yet.

EDIT: Just read the links and they are too young to tell yet.

Hmmm, googled "datura seedlings" and "ipomoea seedlings"
Saw images of both that had long narrow cotyledon leaves, so I'm not at all sure! :|

Well, I have googled the Seeds for pics. they look like the exact same thing I planted. So if these things are gonna go wild and vine i will most definatly be looking to get rid of some when they get large enough to transplant. I would estimate that I have at least 20+ at the moment.
