It has been a brutal winter here in the valley. Before the last snow, in an area next to the driveway, I noticed tulips coming through the ground after the snow melted, that were not there before the last snow! The snow had been shoveled very deep along the driveway and they came up under it! In the same location, pansies with a bud that will open with just a hint of warmth! (and that should happen this weekend)
