Ingredients:
- Item 1 2 lbs. ground beef, brown and drain (I rinse as well)
Item 2 1 can whole kernel corn
Item 3 1 can blackeye peas
Item 4 1 can kidney beans
Item 5 2 small or 1 large chopped green chilis
Item 6 1 packet taco seasoning
Item 7 1 packet hidden valley ranch
Item 8 2 1/2 cups water
Cooking Directions:
simmer 1 hour
Chef's Notes:
Garnish with sour cream, cheese and/or corn chips or tortilla chips.
I changed it up this time as my family thought it needed more "kick". I added Ro-tel diced tomatoes, chopped jalapenos. It was a tad too spicy for me, but I just added the sour cream garnish.
