The CIC recently awarded more than $30,000 in grant funds to local businesses through its Business Exterior Improvement Matching Grant and Downtown Development Programs. The Business Exterior Matching Grant Program awards grants up to $5,000 for exterior improvements to businesses throughout the City of Monroe and Lemon Township; the Downtown Development Grant Program provides grants up to $15,000 for eligible projects in downtown Monroe.

From the outset, Monroe’s concern has been that the Middletown Coke facility should be regulated under the stringent requirements of the federal New Source Review program. This new permit shows that Monroe’s objections to the original permit were valid. This person has been speeding up and down my road for (seemingly) weeks.... He 'appears' to be speeding, he might not be (sure sounds like it tho)

Our street has been cleared several times, but due to incessant snow fall, it remains covered.. and here he is, whipping up and down.

We have Children out with their sleds, crossing streets and making snowmen .... If this knucklehead HAD to he could not even nearly stop ...

I do have a question/concern .... We have neighbors who very recently moved into Monroe. They were not recipients of the snow emergency alert (via email or the call system.)

Just a thought (and you might already do this - please forgive me if you do) but when we receive our mail from the City, could a flier be added to the mail advising them of the website and alert system??
