Carson Palmer's brother, Jordan, has signed a two year deal with the team.
The team issued the following statement this morning announcing the signing:
"The Bengals today signed free agent QB Jordan Palmer to a two-year deal. He is the younger brother of Bengals QB Carson Palmer.
Jordan Palmer (6-5, 231; Texas-El Paso) was drafted by Washington in the sixth-round of the 2007 draft (205th overall). He played in one preseason game before being waived on Sept. 1.
Jordan Palmer played in 46 career games (42 starts) for UTEP. He finished his UTEP career with 11,084 passing yards and 88 touchdown passes, both school records. As a senior in 2006, he set single-season records for passing yards (3595), completions (282), completion percentage (65.7) and passer efficiency (149.6)."
