Postby Mrs. Blueblood » Thu, 24 Apr 2008 18:45:42 GMT

MIDDLETOWN It's official: Middletown High School's football program has a head coach.

Athletics officials at a news conference at 6 p.m. today, April 24, announced that Jason Krause will lead the Middies.

Krause, currently Monroe High School's head coach, was one of five candidates, including Madison's Joel Lauer, former NFL player David Pool, Kenton High School's Mike Mauk and Hilliard Davidson's assistant coach Chip Abele, a Middie alumnus.

Krause replaces Ron Johnson, who left to become head coach at Canton McKinley.
