I am looking for a couple of Golden Rain Trees but can't seem to find any at any of the usual outlets (Berns, Delhi, or the lowes,HD stores) any suggestions?

I haven't either.

There's a tree at our piano teacher's house I'd like to know the name of. It's fairly short but is shaped like a large umbrella at the top, os it provides great shade. It's a beautiful front yard kind of tree.

A very nice tree indeed. Although by looking at the picture one has to wonder if it could survive our climate. Seeing as there are palms in the picture. I would be interested in a tree like this as well if it could survive.

It's a zone 5-6 tree so it would be fine.

Interesting tree, no doubt. I can get you seedlings. Many of them. That's the downside of this tree; it drops a fair number of seeds. The next Amur honeysuckle? Maybe not that bad, IMO, but certainly bears watching.

I'll get some potted up and bring 'em whenever we fix a plant swap day.
