WLWT reports:
LEBANON, Ohio -- A Cincinnati woman was arrested Wednesday after state troopers said she attempted to smuggle drugs into prison for her son.

Malena Cox
Troopers said they learned 39-year-old Malena Cox would be bringing drugs into the Warren Correctional Institution when she arrived for a visit.

When they confronted her, troopers said Cox voluntarily turned over three small packages of tobacco and one that contained about 3 grams of marijuana.

The prison is a non-smoking facility, troopers said, so tobacco is considered to be contraband.

Cox was charged with conveying drugs onto the grounds of a detention facility, a third-degree felony, and remains in police custody at the Warren County Jail.

If convicted, Cox faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Sad thing (noting the irony and 'possible' connection) Lady is wearing an oxygen tube ..... Regardless of the reason (in this case) she obviously has breathing issues... One would think that life has taught her that surviving is preferable to breaking a rule and getting yourself arrested -
