Butler County residents have one less thing to worry about now that their water is once again safe for drinking.

The Butler County Water and Sewer Department (BCWS) officially lifted its request for voluntary water conservation Wednesday.

Officials say the water is safe for drinking and residents can resume water use without restriction.

In addition, the BCWS announced there are no system-wide boil advisories for customers in Fairfield, Liberty or West Chester townships.

For further information, customers are asked to contact the BCWS Customer Care Center at 887-3066
