Trick a treat .....

Postby HRHPatey » Thu, 29 Oct 2009 13:15:29 GMT

I have lost my ever lovin mind and suggested that I would be okay to have two little girls spend the night for Halloween.
Okay, they are Family and I adore them, but put them with my Daughter and I can only imagine the sleepless night I will have

So here is the question ... (baring in mind the eldest is 14 and our youngest is 8) what would be an appropriate movie to watch after all the festivities have ensued ???

HBG suggested Lost Boys (Great Idea I think!!) It can't be too gory or have unexpected adult content but scary enough to go with the whole Halloween theme.

~ I have to say at this juncture that I despise Halloween, but evidently as a Mummy, I have to lighten up and go with the fun - bah humbug !!!!

ET - have a bowl full of Reese's Pieces on hand.
Ghostbusters - have a marshmallow fight!
The Ghost & Mr Chicken - this is my all time fav (be happy to loan you my copy - Don Knotts at his hilarious best!)

I don't like gory movies, plus we have company in from California, so we will probably pull out the original Halloween or the Fog. For laughs, maybe Rocky Horror, Young Frankenstein and the good ole Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.

Also fun is the Wizard of Oz played to the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon soundtrack.
