FRANKLIN — A traffic light outage at the intersection of Ohio 73 and Interstate 75 in Franklin is causing congestion this morning.
Dispatchers from the Franklin Police Department said the light has been out since 11:30 p.m. Sunday night, June 28. The light is the responsibility of the Ohio Department of Transportation, which dispatchers said was finally in route to repair the problem this morning at about 8 a.m.
Large backups on exit ramps of the interstate as well as on OH-73 have resulted from the light being out. At this time, no one is directing traffic.
