I do have to question this story ... seriously, unless you were eating mouthfuls that are HUGE, I can't see how you wouldn't notice this either on your plate or at the very least, fork!

A German tourist on vacation in New York City has a nasty taste in his mouth.
Axel Sanz-Claus says his visit was perfect until he went out to dinner Friday night at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
He was eating his order of steak and spinach from the Bull and Bear Steak House when he says he made a disturbing find.
Sans-Claus spoke exclusively to New York City television station WABC claiming, "I had it in my mouth, chewed it and nearly swallowed it," said Sans-Claus. He adds, "This is so disgusting, I've felt sick ever since."
This diner says he rinsed his mouth with brandy then went to the bathroom to vomit. He says the hotel then called an ambulance.
So what was it?
Sanz-Claus claims the doctor in the emergency room cut the object in half and confirmed it was a used tampon. New York Presbyterian confirmed he was treated at the hospital.
Sanz-Claus says he has not been able to sleep or eat since the episode.
Sanz-Claus fears he could contract a deadly disease. He was tested for hepatitis at the hospital and was told to be tested for AIDS in two months.
WABC-TV obtained the following statement from a company spokesperson of Hilton Hotels (owner of the Waldorf): "
"We are conducting an internal investigation, but have reason to believe that the circumstances surrounding this incident are highly suspicious. At this time we are not at liberty to provide any additional details."
