Hmmmmmm...... I heard the Tornado siren tests and (without knowing) assumed that it must be noon

Only to peep at my watch and realized that it was 1o'clock

I have become pretty much accustomed to the testing first Wednesday of every month at noon .... did I miss something ???

I was worried about the sirens as Bob Hales burial was today at Mound Cemetery (there is a siren up top) and they should have been gathered there around noon. Perhaps they were pushed back on purpose? Anyhow, I heard the shots from the gun salute and then Taps. I'm glad it was such a beautiful day. :cry:

I had forgotten about Mr. Hale's funeral today

Selfishly I am glad that I cannot hear Taps / gun salutes, it would break my heart ...

My prayers are with all the Hale Family and friends.
