CINCINNATI -- The Vice President is coming to the Tri-State, and you have a chance to see him speak.

Vice President Joe Biden will hold a public news conference in Northside Thursday morning to highlight the progress of the recovery act in Ohio.

The news conference will at the old American Can Company on Spring Grove Avenue beginning at 10 a.m. Biden will reportedly discuss how the Recovery Act is building a 21st century economy in Cincinnati.

Biden reportedly chose to speak at the American Can building because it is a formerly abandoned factory that is being converted to a multi-use economic development project, which will include condos and a mixed retail area.

The city is working to use over $1 million in community development block grant money from the federal stimulus package to complete the project.

Tickets to the event will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday on a first-come, first-serve basis at the American Can building located at 4101 Spring Grove Avenue.

There is a limit of two tickets per person.

Hahahaaa I was listening (radio) about a statement Mr. Biden had made regarding the White House underestimation of the dire straits the US economy was in; In particular the likelihood of a 10% unemployment rate .....

One would hope if not assume, that at the very least they would have a pretty good idea ~ Fasten your seatbelts, tis going to be a bumpy ride - Eeeek!
