Stu Wilson resigning?

Postby Bob Kelley » Mon, 22 Jun 2009 14:42:53 GMT

Anybody know whats going on? Why do we keep loosing good people in our athletic department. Can't be his work, he has been recognized as one of the best trainers in the area. I was told his resignation was on tonight's board agenda.

Many district employees have resigned. One board member spoke out to ask why and only one actually wanted to know before he would approve the resignations. He's not running for election this time but took the time to ask why the district is losing so many good people.

Especially in this economy! Even though educators are more sheltered from economic downturns as far as lay-offs, I would think finding another job would be almost as difficult. Something is amiss!!! :?:

I am not familiar with Mr. Wilson, but presume from posts made that he was both well respected and an effective educator.

That said, without information we are left with supossitions .....

Yet another Very well know Monroe Local School Employee is gone. Good Bye Mr. Hesson, best wishes and best of luck to you.

Once again, why do we keep losing good teachers and longtime employees of the district?

I won't presume to get involved in the resignation issue-but I worked as a trainer with Stu back at Middletown High in the late '70's and he was totally committed to it then. He also has the distinction of being the only person I've ever seen consume and entire "Bountiful Buckeye Breakfast" AND a meatball sandwich at the old Sunshine Cafe on University. Then he topped it off a couple hours later with two McConalds fish sandwiches and a large fry!
Man, just remembering those days is giving me heartburn!

Its sad thing to see all these good people leaving. Change needs to happen in Monroe Schools without a doubt. I have heard its a buddy system where everyone who is hired now knows someone that knows someone. Its without a doubt I think a Good Old Boy system in our district that needs to be SHUTDOWN.
