SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED

A snow emergency has been declared throughout the City of Monroe.
A snow emergency shall exist in the City when snow, sleet, freezing
rain or other weather conditions cause or appear likely to cause
slippery or hazardous conditions which might lead to serious
congestion or hazard.

No parking is permitted on any street within the City during this
snow emergency. Any vehicle parked in violation of this snow
emergency may be removed and impounded by the Department of Police.
The cost of such removal and impounding shall be borne by the
owner of the vehicle.
