Just another reminder to everyone to MARK YOUR CALENDERS for Saturday, August 8th @ 11am at the Community Park on Main Street.

Enjoy yummy food from the Red Onion, the Monroe Optimists and Catnip & Carrots (support the library, too!)

2. Visit the log cabin with Historical Society members in period costume

3. Get your raffle tickets for the upcoming quilt giveaway (contact me for tixs & info)

4. Join in the fun of the wheelbarrel, 3 legged & potato sack races - maybe your family will take home a ribbon!

5. Watch a fantastic old tyme baseball game, played without gloves (sign up to play, too!)

6. Enjoy a movie (the Sandlot, rated G) under the stars and more, with the open concession stand.

Instead of sitting hours in mall and flea market traffic, come out to the park on Main St and have an old fashioned lazy, hazy, summer day of fun!
