Postby HRHPatey » Fri, 24 Jul 2009 14:25:16 GMT

This is taking place this Evening (7pm) in the Community Park.

I believe that the concession stand will be open and available.

Bring lotsa bug spray (however, as I will be there, don't worry too awful much, I am a beacon to these wretched critters  )

Mr. & Mrs. Blueblood ( and Lil Bluebloods) - so delightful to get the opportunity to say Hello !! :D

Hmmm, Interesting show

I should preface by saying that Shakespeare is a passion, Romeo and Juliet was the ultimate for me..... Whilst others were watching Fame and Flashdance, I could be found locating every 'Theater in the Round' and Open air productions of Shakespeare........ I was anticipating such a performance and have critiqued it as such (Shame on me!)

The performance was so enjoyable. The actors were fighting against time and a rather noisy ambiance (who know noise traveled so?) Over all, I thought the production was commendable... Shakespeare is by no means an easy task, difficult by many standards and yet, positively poetic when performed well.

The young Lady portraying Mercutio, was my favorite by far...... I adored the Nurse (played by a Man) his acting skills were super, but regrettably, I found myself chuckling at his hairnet and lack of 'bust' symmetry, each time he came back to the stage

My Daughter decided to come along (with myself and BFF) I was positively thrilled that she might find the same adoration of Shakespeare that I have, so to share the evening with my 'best girls' was truly the best part!

Thank You, Thank you!!! To CSC for providing both your time and willingness to offer up literature to all Communities for free. Super Time, Super Company ......... :D :D

Yes, It was very nice getting to chat with you, HRH, at the play.

My kids were "drug" also to the play and then they enjoyed it, especially my son who had read it for a class and knew the plot better than the rest of his family.

The actors had very impressive resumes and were put together from schools across the country. None were local students! I was very impressed. :D Shakespeare is very hard to do and doing multiple parts as they did, remembering a script that might as well be foriegn, and presenting it with the air that it was acted out and nonstop for two hours! :o
I would like to see some of their other works.
