Where could they possibly place that at? And whats wrong with the current one?
I couldn't see Lebanon letting go of that without one hell of a fight.

Warren County will not allow the owners to place slots in the current facility which is actually the Warren Co. Fairgrounds.
Therefore the owners will be looking to relocate, somewhere closer to I 75. This could be in upwards of 200 million dollars of devlopment.
Mark it zero, Dude.

And here they come down the stretch.... :P

Are they looking to continue harness racing or switch to thoroughbreds? If harness, I would think Hamilton would be doing all they can to secure it since they already have the facilites and the north end of town is desolate, except for the juvenile center, a cemetary and coronors office. You could take I-75 and jump down the MFox highway and be at the track in no time.

I'd cheer for it, but I'm sure the manure from those horses would have all kinds of steroids and other unmetabolized meds. Bleah.

By the way, anybody want to take a shot at explaining the difference between betting on horses and gambling to me?

I say go for it. The article in today's paper said they want to be on 75, between Monroe and 675. Jump on it.

By the time it makes the paper, most of the time a deal is already in the works. :D

Monroe does not need a race track. Hamilton can have it. I hope this gets put in further north of us.
