.... with whom would you sit, chat and question....?

Other than the obvious choice of deceased Family members .. I would love to speak with :

I) Hitler - odd, yet who wouldn't like to understand the mindset of this historical figure
II) William Shakespeare - My Hero ..... what was his inspiration ? Were characters based upon lifestyle, experiences or simply created ?
III) Queen Victoria - a formidable Lady, yet I believe her weaknesses would be most curious (if indeed she had any)
IV) Christopher Columbus - a Man driven by discovery, yet I sense a need for either answers or an innate desire to find oneself ... again a curious sole
V) General Schwartzkopt - Ist Gulf War - a hero to many ... what were his concerns/ worries/ driving forces.
VI) Elvis Presley - I idolized him as a youngster - I have read of his isolation and yet feel that he was a Man of depth - rather than focus on his music, I would so love to know his personal opinions on regular general stuff...
VII) Marilyn Monroe - such an icon, known and adored internationally, yet desperately isolated in her personal life....
"I traveled among unknown men,
In lands beyond the sea:
Nor England! Did I know till then
What love I bore to thee."

That one's easy for me: Mark Twain

I have always been fascinated with him and his writing! I especially love his less popular works like "The Mysterious Stranger" and "Letters From the Earth." They're fascinating and he had such an interesting outlook on human nature.

Also, he is buried "a stone's throw" from my own grandfather in Elmira, NY. As a young girl, I used to think perhaps they talked together about me.

1. Elizabeth Caty Stanton. Her life story has had such an impact on me from a women's rights standpoint.
2. Ghandi. I don't know that I would ask questions so much as just sit and listen and just "be".
3. Oprah. I would love to ask all kinds of questions to her just about how she became the woman she has become and what influences her.
4. Alicia Keys. Right now I am so in awe of her, but I run through artists like that. I would love to just have coffee with her. The woman can write so poetically and says everything I am feeling in my heart about my husband and the love we have developed. And I also would love to hear how she grew up. And then after she was done talking, I would want a concert performed just for me :D .
5. Cher. I would just love to hang with Cher and go shopping with her, hear about her life, what influenced her.
6. Mother Theresa. I wouldn't have felt this way six months ago, but have since had the chance to read some amazing things about the doubt she had in her faith. Knowing that now, I would love to talk to her about how she sustained herself and what drove her.

If you can't tell, I am highly influenced by strong independent women.
