I just read a news publication about a Home invasion in Liberty Township where thankfully upon discovering the Homeowner at home, the thieves fled without incident. The publication suggests that they entered because the lights were out downstairs (Homeowner was upstairs tending to an infant) This took place at 6pm!!!!!
We have our Christmas lights set on a timer, and as they flood the exterior with lights, it would be foolish to attempt entry
Timers can be purchased for just a few dollars, but could make a difference on whether your Home would be targeted.Once again, a reminder to lock all vehicles (if parked outside) and remove the garage door openers.
