Ok, this has been driving me nuts for a few weeks now.. but does anyone else hear a helicopter flying around pretty low almost every day around dusk or so? Anyone know what it is?

No idea what it is but I hear it, too. Makes me feel like I'm back home in California. HB had several police copters that regularly did patrols the same time every night. The weird part was when they started talking to you from the sky.

I assumed it was aircare.

Well if its aircare, where are they going? Middletown? It flys the same pattern over my house, I'll have to try and get some ID off of it. I thought the same thing, last night I said to Kayleigh "Oh theres that helicopter again. Didn't know we move to south central LA." ha ha.....

Many area developers use a photo service that flies helicopters over the area to photo progress of the area and of the interchange. They use it as a sales tool. I have no knowledge that this is the case now but it fits the needs. With the interchange nearing completion they will all want pictures of that for their advertising.

Now that you mention that, based on where my house is, it seems to be flying toward and away from the outlets and interchange. That does make sense...

I was pondering this - I do not live in the perceived 'Monroe main' so was unable to say that I have heard a helicopter flying overhead ~ certainly not on a regular basis!

It does seam far more reasonable that Bob's suggestion is the reason you are hearing/seeing it, although still quite bizarre! :wink:

ok, last night, 830pm, stupid thing flew over for like 45 minutes. What could they possibly being taking pictures of in the darK? the construction last night? I give up....maybe I'll get out the potato cannon..... :twisted:
