Did you know congress in working on bill to basically make Abortion a free for all in America? I am not sure how others feel but I am Pro-Life and this would upset me if partial birth abortions were made legal.

Abortion Industry Pushes Legislation to Eliminate all Limitations on Abortion



Pro-abortion members of Congress are expected to introduce legislation soon that will eliminate any and all state or federal limitations on abortion.

The bill, which has been titled the “Freedom of Choice Act” in past sessions, would effectively prohibit any and all regulations or restriction on abortion at both the state and federal level. Under this legislation, even state laws governing informed consent and parental notice would be overturned.



As a Presidential candidate, then Senator Barack Obama told the Planned Parenthood Action Fund on July 17, 2007 that "the first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do."

Since becoming President, Obama has said that "the Freedom of Choice Act is not my highest legislative Priority." However, White House aides have made it clear that, if and when FOCA reaches the President's desk, he will sign it into law. Political observers say the delay in reintroducing the FOCA bill is a political tactic and that it is likely to reappear soon -- with very short notice for pro-life organizations that have worked to rally opposition to the bill.



FOCA would reverse a number of pro-life victories in recent years, including a recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to hold a ban on partial-birth abortions.

Please contact your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator’s TODAY and urge them to oppose the “Freedom of Choice Act” whenever it is reintroduced

Agian, I am surprised that you are surprised! It was paid for I believe imposed by Carter into various programs on demand and I believe it was Reagan or Bush 41 that removed that option. This far left liberal adminstation is the ONE that conservatives have feared since the beginning of time. Some say we are still suffering from the Carter era. Will we ever recover from Obama?

Obama really didn't make it a point to hide his true colors. The Media did that for him.
Why does this surprise you? Did ACORN register you to vote? I ask, only because ACORN worked hard to register ignorant people, with the intentions of getting those same people to vote for Obama.
May I ask what posessed you to vote for him in the first place? If you're pro-life and don't believe in global warming, there must be a subject near and dear to your heart that got you to foresake all other subjects and to vote for him.
This inquiring mind would like to know.
