Elizabeth Lambert Attacks - Women's Football

Having followed football my entire life, I find this to be shocking (shoot, I think it's shocking even if you haven't!)

Sadly, any talent she may have on the pitch is entirely overlooked because of her aggressive behaviour :x The other players are not completely without fault, they are also doing a little pushing, elbowing etc., but nothing that would warrant such attacks.

With football making an larger impact here in the US (especially Women's football) it is sad to see such a player IMO

The headlines suggest that she has been indefinitely suspended from the New Mexico squad - I would think that she may have issues being on any squad until she can learn to control her physical anger!

In lands beyond the sea:
Nor England! Did I know till then
What love I bore to thee."

I thought that was soccer.

Either way, I'm glad she's under the microscope. There's a line where competition ends and assault begins, and I think she's crossed the line. She should be charged with assault for the ponytail incident. That girl could have been seriously injured.
I can't help but think that, if she was my daughter and behaving in such a manner, I'd be ashamed of her and letting her have it with a verbal lashing.
I taught him everything I know and he's still stupid. I don't understand it!!!

Yes, I thought something new/remake was afoot with the "Womens Football" heading. But,hey, this gal is as mean and sneaky dirty as any male footballer(insert whatever sport) and she is a good actress as well, with the "I did nothing, whats amatta you" routine and complimentary innocent look as well. That ponytail takedown was just violent and you know that had to hurt. That might have got an ejection on a lot of levels in real football! :o :?:

I didn't know who or had ever heard of her till now but if my son brings her home for thanksgiving, I will be sure to sit accross the table from her!!!! :)
