Educational Websites For Children

Each Summer, I visit some of my favorite Websites for 'inspiring' projects. I like for the Children to keep up with some form of studies... just enough for 1 - 2 hrs a day (tops)

Here are a select few.... Please feel free to add if you have websites that you enjoy! (As always, I check the websites BEFORE letting the Children visit ... then watch over - you'd be surprised what an innocent search can bring up!!!)

http://www.dltk-cards.com/writingpaper/cpaper1.asp - Great resource for note paper - Think pen pals :)

http://www.abcteach.com/ - I ADORE this site - Thousands of worksheets

http://alphabet-soup.net/ - Lots of fun and creative things to do !

http://www.ask.com/web?q=Child+friendly ... &o=0&l=dir - Ask.com (please watch searches) but great informational tool.

http://www.askkids.com/?o=0 - Ask Jeeves for Kids (again watch any searches - got some great ideas and links from here!)

http://www.dltk-kids.com/ - I have spent hours on this site (especially when the Children were a tad younger!) Great place to visit and find fun activities!

http://www.readinga-z.com/samples/preview.html - Have printed out many mini-books :)

http://www.eduplace.com/index.jsp - Another informative website - look for the links :-)
