The Parkside Inn has a 'known' problem with 'curious' characters... Just yesterday, I read concern from fellow local citizens that this 'Inn' is very close to a daycare center and residential homes.
On the heals of this information.. it might be worthwhile investigating the legal position that nearby folks have ... I am reviewing the information and will inquire what can be done...
Per Middletown Journal:
MONROE — The Butler County Sheriff’s Office, together with the Monroe Police Department, arrested a man at an area motel on felony drug charges.
The joint operation, conducted by the county’s Undercover Regional Narcotics taskforce, nabbed John E. Linville, 22, of Monroe, according to the sheriff's office.
The monthlong investigation came to a head at approximately 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, when members of the task force made undercover purchases of heroin, then followed Linville back to the Parkside Inn, 5853 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Monroe, where he had been staying for a week, according to authorities.
After Linville was taken in to custody, a search warrant of his motel room reportedly turned up more than 15 grams of heroin, capsules of heroin, $240 in cash, a scale and a small amount of marijuana.
Linville was charged with first-degree felony drug trafficking, second-degree felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. He is being held on more than $35,000 bond in the Butler County Jail. If convicted on all charges, Linville could face up to 10 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.
