I know this is not in Monroe but a firefitgher from the dayton area has been fighting a Terminal illness.
The Firefighter (Mike Kalb) actually passed away last night. The viewing is scheduled for 4PM-8PM tomorrow and funeral at 10AM on Saturday. But as far as I know, they’re still going to have the benefit to help the family with expenses.
Here are the benifit info. If you are going ot be out this would be a good stop.

mike leaves behind his wife and 2 children 11 and 7 years old.
