Cell phone usage is illegal in England and with good cause I believe. We hear all to often about fatal traffic accidents caused by Persons using cell phones/texting, it simply is beyond me how this is still permissible.
(I know I'll hear all about Big Brother here

)
To refrain from paying due attention when driving has always been attributed to something, playing with the radio, CD player, fussing with Children in the back, etc... but IMO when you are messing with your cell phone, you are putting yourself and others in danger,texting even more so, because it is moments at a time (regardless of how well/fast you type) as we saw in the video, it was a moment that caused the Young girl to venture into oncoming vehicles.
How many times have you been behind a vehicle where the driver is swerving all over the road and then you notice that they have a cell phone up to their head??? Unfortunately, I have a fear and it has become quite ridiculous, but certainly not helped when I am a passenger in a Car with someone who uses their phone (few volunteer to have me as a passenger

)
As I type this my heart is beating out of my chest

I worry about young People, newly driving, who believe themselves invincible........ although the video was a reenactment, we all know that it IS a reality.
Valium, oh valium, wherefore art thou?
