I would agree with Mr. Harris... It also seams to tweet while in session, especially noting the comments made are rather unprofessional, yet one would truly assume it would not be necessary to have to apply a ban...
I am not surprised that comments could not be obtained.. Ms. Ghiz is possibly engaged in tweeting an apology at this point!

Report by WLWT:
CINCINNATI -- At least one City Council member is considering proposing a ban on Twitter during council meetings after a colleague received criticism for what some consider inappropriate tweets.
Chris Smitherman, president of the NAACP in Cincinnati, issued a release to the media on Sunday urging the City Council to ban tweeting during council meetings, citing recent tweets made by council member Leslie Ghiz.
Ghiz posted comments on her Twitter feed on June 24, such as "Keep digging a hole Laketa. Never shuts her mouth," and "I don't have to go to church Sunday because I just heard a sermon from Cole," referring to fellow council member Laketa Cole. The tweets all occurred during a council meeting.
Smitherman called the tweets "reckless, immature, unprofessional, unbecoming of an elected official," and called for Mayor Mark Mallory to demand a motion be introduced to restrict the use of Twitter during council meetings.
City Council member Greg Harris told News 5's Kristina Cruise that he supports a ban on Twitter during council meetings.
"I think it's ridiculous. We're doing the people's business. We should be focusing on what's on our agenda and the debate at hand and not trying to score political points while the debate is happening," said Harris.
Harris, who has his own Twitter feed, said he is considering introducing a motion to ban tweeting during the meetings.
"I think there has to be some kind of limitations," said Harris. "I'd like to think we could self-regulate and know not to do that, but apparently we don't."
Several other City Council members have Twitter feeds, including Jeff Berding and Roxanne Qualls. Berding and Qualls, who joined Twitter in January and February respectively, have tweeted while conducting council business but have not criticized other members of the council.
Calls to Ghiz and Cole have not been returned.
