Recently my wife and I were approved for adoption/fostering from two Doberman rescue groups here in Ohio. Hand Me Down Dobes and Southwest Doberman Rescue. We have adpoted a 10 month old male Doberman named Buckeye. He was surrenered to SWD group from a couple in Bardstown KY becasue.... They did not know he would be so big.... ok it was a doberman :? ... duh. He is currently doing very well and eating to catchup as he is about 20 pounds under weight. (we will get him to normal soon :D ) He is a real sweet heart and will make a great pet for us.

This weekend in Delaware Ohio just north of Columbus, Hand me Down Dobes is having a Dog feast. The event will be held at Bark Park (10 acre fenced in play area for dogs) the event starts at 11-3 you can come to see all the Dobermans they have for adoptions along with vendors and all the other Doberman owners.

Check out the web sites for all the dogs they have for adoption.
