Butler County Offers Free H1N1 Clinic

HAMILTON, Ohio -- The Butler County Health Department is offering a free H1N1 vaccination clinic.

The clinic will be held in Hamilton at the Butler County Fairgrounds Blue Building on Oct. 23 and 24. The building is located at 1715 Fairgrove Ave.

The vaccination drive will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 24.

People who would like to get vaccinated are asked to pre-register at the state's flu Web site. : http://www.odh.ohio.gov/landing/phs_eme ... umain.aspx

Doctors will be providing both the nasal spray and the injectable H1N1 flu shots for Tier 1 patients.

Tier 1 includes:

* Pregnant women.
* People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age.
* Health care and emergency medical personnel.
* Anyone from 6 months through 24 years of age.
* Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
