Best websites for used cars?

What are some good websites for used car shopping?

I like cars.com and autotrader.com.

We just bought a new car a few days ago and it's too bad dealers don't keep their website up to date with inventory. I'd much rather sit at home and search for a car I'm interested in than drive all over town from lot to lot. I despise the staring eyes of vulture waiting at the door as soon as I pull in the parking lot. I equally dislike the questions: Hi, what are you looking for, where do you work, checked your credit lately, planning to buy today - all within 30 seconds of my saying Hello. I'm also not real crazy about giving copies of my life history just to open the car door. I have dealers I really like and those I won't patronize any longer but that's another thread! 8)

When looking, I tend to use autotrader.com (it's been a while though)

My wife used autotrader to find our yellow jeep. the search engine they use allows you to search a wide area for the car you want.

And the search includes both private owners and dealerships.

I did try autotrader and found a few possibilities.

I agree, Buckeyenut, it would be ideal if dealerships kept their websites up to date. I am definitely not one to drive around to different dealerships trying to find what I want. I hardly even do that with my clothes shopping! :D
