CINCINNATI -- Prosecutors said a Hamilton County bank teller was helping herself to thousands of dollars from one customer's account.
Stecher, 34, is charged with one count of theft.
Court documents stated that while working at a Fifth Third Bank branch on Vine Street in late 2005 and early 2006, Stecher wrote checks to herself from a customer's home equity credit line.
Prosecutors said Stecher took $35,275, cashing the checks in her own cash drawer.
Stecher is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday morning.
