Are you ready for SNOW ???

Postby HRHPatey » Tue, 04 Dec 2007 09:31:51 GMT

According to the weather forecast, late tonight and tomorrow morning we are to get some snow :D

I'm happy to see it - I thought Summer would never end.... My only concern at this point, is that I have neglected to get new winter boots for the Children  I hope that this won't present a problem in the Morning and that I can get them asap !

Watch out for the roads out there !!

Truth be told...I hate winter and I hate cold. Whereas you have been looking forward to it, I have been dreading it, LOL.

The only good thing is we get to sit in front of the fireplace and suck down cups of hot chocolate that are probably about 200 calories, LOL.

Slappy - I have a feeling that you MIGHT be in trouble

On a serious note .......

As we are anticipating snow, I have yet to see any salt trucks out and about ..... I recall a year when we (in our subdivision) were snowed in - I was so upset ( Christmas Eve and Father Christmas was bringing a special delivery)... even more so when I found out that the moment you reached route 4 (the nearest 'main' road) the roads were not only clear of snow, but were dry and happily transporting travelers to their parties......
(We were sitting looking out of the window, feeling the spirit, but were unable to leave our driveway!)

I do not look forward to the snow. I look forward to Spring/Summer 2008. I hate winter. If it is below 70, I am miserable.

Truth be told I am not stalking you, I just look at you as my "not-as-cool-as-me sidekick", so I have to keep an eye on you AND keep you on your toes!!!

As far as you "running to delete account", it will take awhile with those short little legs you have, so I assume we will hear from you in years to come!!!!

Ahhh....You know I love ya, but you have I have to serve you an ICEY mug of u know what....LMAO!!!!!

I LOVE winter and especially snow!! You will find me out there this evening with my eyes to the sky when the first flakes begin to fall. Don't believe me? I was in my backyard enjoying (Yes, completely enjoying!) the incredible wind storm we had the other night! The wind was wicked! And I loved every minute of it!

Bring it on! My family was born and raised in upstate NY (Buffalo, Syracuse) with 12 feet of snow and more on a regular basis. They hated it, but I often lament that I never got to experience it.

Yes, I am originally from Pittsburgh, so I am used to get alot of snow. I am always disappointed with the snowfall we get here in Cincinnati. I know growing up, we wouldn't get out of school unless at least 8" of snow fell.

However, I do hope we get alot of snow this winter only for the fact that I bought a new snow blower on Sunday, lol

Hey not related to the topic. I see we have a "spell check" on this site!! IS Tracy a member? LMAO

I love snow - well with the exception of doing the pase double on the side walk (that's all I can say about that  )

I too enjoyed the wind storm (albeit that it was harsh at times)

To me snow is simply beautiful and enchanting ....... I feel a song coming on

Snow, beautiful snow! It's a winter wonderland out there as I speak. So what, pray tell, am I doing in front of my computer when I should be out in it? Good question!
