Okay, So I read the last story (referenced below) absolutely grossed me out (BLECH!! - the thought of raw meat on my hands is awful, wondering why someone would choose to put it down their pants ..... well....) But, to read this story, I guess it seriously isn't that uncommon

Why pants? raw meat, drips, rectangular packaging (I can feel an involuntary gip as I type) .... I know we are not assuming that there is a 'smart' way, but, by crikey, let's understand this 'stupid' way .... Good Grief!!

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio -- Another man is facing theft charges in what seems to be a strange new crime trend: he allegedly tried to steal ribs from a local Kroger store by stuffing them down his pants.

Police arrested 51-year-old Dale Banks of Springfield Township on Tuesday afternoon at the Kroger located on Winton Road.

According to police documents, Banks stuffed two packs of Kroger brand ribs in his pants, then tried to leave without paying for them.

He his now charged with theft and criminal trespass. Police say Banks shouldn't have been in the store in the first place because he was already banned for life for previous thefts.

This crime is strangely similar to another alleged rib theft at a Walnut Hills Kroger store last month. Forty-five-year-old Anthony Chambers of Bond Hill is charged with misdemeanor theft after police say he stuffed ribs down his pants there before urinating on them.

I've heard of marinating meats in butter, but in urine???
That's a new one on me. I think I'll pass, just the same.

How do you get banned for life from Kroger? That seems like quite an accomplishment.

a lot of retailers will ban you for life when you get caught shoplifting.....they take your picture.....I'm assuming that they distribute to the immediate area, otherwise a mass distribution would be burdonsome for the lp teams to review
