Life in prison for Middletown mother

HAMILTON — A 41-year-old Middletown mother — accused of prostituting her 11-year-old daughter to a registered sex offender for money and drugs — has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

The woman pleaded no contest in April to three counts of complicity to rape as part of a plea bargain. She has also been classified as a Tier III sex offender, requiring registration with the sheriff’s office every 90 days for the rest of her life if she is released from prison.

The Middletown Journal is not naming the woman to protect the identity of the victim.

Between June and August 2007, the woman transported her daughter three times to residences on Pearl Street and Lylburn Road, where she had arranged for Clint Nevitt to have sex with her daughter, according to statements read in court when she entered the plea. The woman was also present when the sexual conduct occurred.

Nevitt, 33, of 211 Lylburn Road, Middletown, pleaded guilty last month to three counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition for having sex with the 11-year-old, as well as another 9-year-old Middletown girl.

This is simply DISTURBING and WRONG in every humanly way possible. I'm not even sure how I would punish this lady.

Life in prison (not sufficient BUT at least a start!) BUT....with the possibility of parole after 10 years I hope THAT day never comes! Her Child is /was 11 years old, she prostituted her for financial gain (or sick perversion) and yet her potential imprisionment could be less than the years this Child has lived - lest we forget that she will carry the scars for life!

These type cases are why I am a proponent of cruel and unusual punishment. One could make the case of drug addiction for the mother, but that is a cop out, but how/why do grown men lust after little girls? Castration with a rusty knife would be a good start!

Totally agree with that. Not sure how I would deal with the mother though. Can't seem to find a suitable punishment for her. I'm all for an eye for an eye....but in this case, she might enjoy it.

Another story I couldn't finish. The fighfighter and the 2 dogs was the other.

Sometimes I wanna scream so loud at life injustices. I also wonder why some men are so hard up for sex they would take a child. Isn't there enough porn out there to satisify the urge? Plus we have a new club on Cin-Day Rd they could join to get the real (adult) deal.
