Todd,
Can you tell us where you stand politically (Republican/Democrat, Liberal/Conservative)? Also, what would you like to see done differently from the Monroe council? What do you plan to change if elected?

Thanks

IMO, the voters would be better informed not by being told what party Todd is affiliated with, rather what his position is on issues of concern to the voters.

I don't really care about party affliation, just the issues. I consider myself a liberal conservative.

While party affiliation isn't as important on a local level, it can play a part. Todays city council members become tomorrows County Commissioners.
With Mr. Hickman being a former employee of AK Steel, is he wanting Suncoke to procede with the Suncoke plant (to benefit AK Steel), or against the Suncoke plant? He could go either way, depending on friends in Middletown/AK Steel. It would be nice to know where he stands on this and other issues.
His silence is deafening and will only stand to hurt his chances of being elected.

This is the same question that has been asked of him on another blog.....he is not answering.

He did make it clear prior to running that he was FOR Suncoke and against Monroe spending money against Suncoke.

Since Todd won’t answer directly, calls out Suncoke as one of the top issues for our City in all of his information, but gives no indication of his opinion - I am assuming his opinion is the same - He wants Sun Coke and thinks the city is wasting their money.

I will not vote for someone that won't tell people his opinion, and . If you recall, he used to be very vocal, when his name was not on a sign.

Also, the present council is doing a fine job.

I wasn't keeping up with MonroeChat for awhile and don't remember seeing any of his posts. I thought that he just recently joined. Like back in August.
I haven't made any set-in-stone decisions as far as voting, but I am leaning away from voting for Mr. Hickman. His signs say "Vote for Hickman" but he won't tell us WHY to vote for him. Maybe he IS just running to give Suncoke some leverage.
