Don't forget the Choir is hosting a Quarter Auction on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Elementary School Cafeteria. Proceeds are donated to the Monroe High School Choir Robe Fund. I SO love the quarter auctions .... sadly I have a weekend full of crazy plans..... Anyone who hasn't yet been to the auctions, please give it a whirl .... they are super good fun while supporting our Children !!!

The Quarter Auction was a lot of fun! It was fun to bid a Quarter on things that cost $15.00 or more. Some great homemade desserts from a local baker - Sumner Sweets plus lots of other things. If you are a local business person it is a great way to advertise and get people to try your services while supporting a great cause. Purchase of choir robes = $125.00 per robe.

The Choir came away with enough money for 3-4 robes including the concessions and a check someone wrote for 1 robe! not bad for 2-3 hours of work.

I encourage all of you to come to the next one (date tbd).
