It is my understanding that the Elementary School will be having their Orientations after the start of School. I actually believe that this happened last year (or year previous.) I am unsure why this would be in any way helpful to those unfamiliar with, or new to the School.

I will post when I have a date confirmed!

I don't understand that mentality either and yet I have my own open house tonight, a week and a half in???

Not sure if this applies to all Elementary or just 3rd Grade, but there is an Open House Thursday (tomorrow - Sept 3rd) at 6-7:30pm.

I went to the Open House last evening and was so thrilled to meet Lil Man's teacher!!

I believe it is wonderful when your Child comes home excited and then looks forward to going to School the next day. In this particular case, it is due to his Teacher, after meeting her and looking around the classroom, I understand why ~ you can positively 'feel' her enthusiasm and drive
