Homemade Pizza

Ingredients:
    Bread Flour
    Wheat flour
    Wheatgerm
    Flax seed
    Olive oil
    garlic (optional)
    yeast package
Salt (optional, I use garlic salt.)
1 small can of your favorite tomato suace
    meat, veggies, to taste
Mozzarella Cheese or the Italian blend shredded.

Preparation:
mix 1 package dry yeast in a cup and a half of warm water and let stand until the yeast dissolves (about ten minutes). you can use 2 and a 1/4 teaspoons of yeast from the fridge if thats the way you buy it.

When the yeast is ready add to that 2 cups of bread flour, 1/2 a cup of wheat flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1/4 cup of wheatgerm and a 1/4 cup of flax seed. you can also add the teaspoon of salt if you choose. I like garlic salt.

I knead it with my mixer until thoroughly mixed then cover and let stand till it rises (about 30 minutes or so) then roll out on a flour covered surface into a crust. Once on the cooking sheet or stone, roll the edge and brush the crust with olive oil then add one small can of your favorite tomato sauce and one clove of freshly chopped garlic. Add toppings of your choice the cover with cheese.

Cooking Directions:
Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes, check that crust is browned.

Chef's Notes:
its important to let the dough stand for at least thirty minutes, and hr works best if you have the time, I buy precooked bacon and sausage if I'm in a hurry but you can cook fresh if you have the time and it will taste great. Any of your favorite toppings work, we like sausage, ham, bacon, red peppers and a little extra garlic.
