There is no information on the web site because none was furnished. What happens Saturday has nothing to do with a website, and everything to do with people. People who at their core no matter what flaws they are perceived to have, came together to do something for you and your neighbors and the kids down the street and everyone who wants to participate. Yes it would have been great to have a kick ass website but funding and having an event given what they were handed was more important to them. Still they are criticized, still they are slammed for petty issues that will be moot when the first kid screams in joy or the first family memory of the day is created. My point, I don't care what the web site looks like, I care that four people have taken on a task and are working to see it through. I can appreciate your comments about the web site, but it really has no bearing on the work they have done. Everything was put in a priority order and the website was not on the list.
lastly if you go to control panel up top, click board preferences and select the subsilver theme, the buttons will work so you can edit your posts, but the chat wont work, an obvious flaw in the design and very user unfriendly but we just live with it because it's the thought that counts, not the software.
No offense taken to any of your comments and I hope you feel the same. I would just like to see those who have worked so hard at least get some respect for what they have done, that's all.

No one is throwing rocks at anyone. I stated a fact. A website that has outdated information (or no information) on it is useless. Fact. If you take offense to that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
I'm not even sure who you are referring to when you say "they" in conjunction with the website.
By the way, my opinion on the website has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my company develops websites. I don't care at all that we did not do the site. I am sure it saved me from many headaches.
As a person from a generation that uses the internet for virtually everything, I would have the same opinion whether this was my job or not.
I think the event was great last year, and am sure it will be this year too. I also think that everyone who volunteers their time to make it a success is wonderful for doing so. Do not assume my opinion of the website has any correlation to my opinion of the actual event.
Lastly, in response to "submitting my design to see if 'they' accept it" aren't you the one in charge of the website? Or has that been passed on to someone else since we last discussed it?
Sorry for the multiple posts, but I cannot edit an existing post here.
