The grey one is Random (Puppy), the muted calico is Madison (Girlie), and the black and white is Oreo (Bud).

Okay, that was Chunky working on her tan.

That is Midnight & Chunky sunbathing together.

Kitty jealous of Midnight...she loves to go outside, but is only allowed when supervised.

Cats are so funny

catnip, do your cats lay like that often? I've only seen mine do it the 2 times I got her picture and both have been within the last few months. The first time she was dead asleep.

He is so cute!!! ;)

You know I just got me one and I wuv him so much....:)

There's some things I need to know and hope you can help?

He loves to chew on everything he should not :-0 I have purchased some small toys, but his mouth is so small he can't chew on them?? :( That or, he just doesn't like them.

My other puppy likes the hard rolled doggie treats. (hope you know what I mean) This one loves to chew on them after the other one has unrolled them to where they are flat. But I spoke with a woman in the store last night and was told not to let him chew on these. She said if he were to get a small bite of one his body would not be able to digest it. True or false?

Thanks for any advice because of right now, these are what he likes the most and will fit into his mouth. (besides my shoes :-0 )

Kolby has many pets - YEA Kolby!! :D

ADH - my first cat looked a lot like Chunky. Frisco once weighed in at 25 lbs!! Ironically he was the runt of the litter and at 14 yrs old started suffereing from IBD and probably cancer. He weighed only 5 lbs when I took him in for the "big shot". He just wouldn't let go on his own. But, yes, all my cats love to lie on their backs. My black and white one spends 75% of her life on her back (sleeping or simply gazing at life from her perspective). Always has. She also spends 5% of her time in a papersack and the other 20% eating.

Brandy - try cat toys. The catnip won't hurt him and they are better sized for little dogs. The best toys I ever bought Stitch were the plush ones from Targets dollar area at the front of the store. They normally have stuffed dogs, cats, lions, raccoons, etc. Donkey and Cow are his favorite. He prefers stuffed toys and yes, he does end up pulling out the stuffing and you have to get that away from them right away. The $1 Target toys last him several months whereas $15 designer toys like JimmyChew or his Chewy Vuitton purse (don't ask) are in shreds within minutes. The BEST, indistructable stuffed toys I've found are Cheeky Squeeky Pets, made by Nylabone. http://www.thefind.com/pets/browse-chee ... queaky-toy Again, I buy him the cat version since they are smaller. RitaPolkaPants is his bestbuddyinthewholewideworld. :P

I'd never recommend plastic toys since they tear/break apart too easily and if the pieces are swallowed, it could be deadly. Latex toys are better but some dogs (like Stitch) become obsessed with them. Must be the smell but he goes berserk and I suppose he'd attack them until he simply passed out. Stitch does love his "chewy" though. Has to have it every night before he goes to bed or to take out his frustrationsd with the cats! (goofy dog). "Chewy" is actually a Nylabone - the small Flexible one. It's considered non-edible but Stitch does destroy his but it takes a really long time. When one corner starts to look like it could come off, I cut it off instead. Again, don't want him choking. Puppies are also thrilled to play with toilet paper or paper towel tubes and 2 liter soda lids. I'd love to hear what other small dog owners have to say! And post those photos!!!

Oh, I'd never give my pets pig ears or any treat from the bins at the pet store. Could be contaminated. I also don't do Greenies after my vet recommendation - she operated on Pom who ended up dying from a clump of them in her intestine.

Anyone else's dog obsessed with chewing on metal? Mine is chewing on my ring as I type...and he gets obsessive about it. I've never seem him focus on/obsess over anything more...not even a t-bone!

He also loves pig ears, but one time when he had one small enough to fit in his mouth he swallowed it. And I had to stick my hand down his throat and save him. Never gave him one again and we now take away any bones once they are small enough to swallow (he hates it).

We also give him greenies...now I have that to worry about too! :?

and before I get yelled at for letting him chew on my ring (I hear enough about it from hubby! "He's going to hurt himself!"), he doesn't really bite...he nibbles. I keep trying to pull my hand away and he grabs my arm with his paws and pushes it down and holds it there. He's crazy!

Our cats LOVE to lay on their backs as well.....usually spread-eagle......strutting their stuff, if it were still there (shhh....we won't tell them otherwise). They have some of the funniest personalities. :D

We are HUGE pet people. We had chinchillas when we lived in Indy; however, I refused to move them down here when the temperatures were 95+. We found a really nice person at PetSmart who took them....it was fortunate for her, as her parent's had just lost their's. We will probably one day get chins again. The cats LOVED them.

Our dog refuses to play with dog toys. However, she LOVES the cat toys with the catnip. Of course, she will not play with the toys when I am around. She acts so differently around me vs the wife. It was the opposite for our friends who watched her while we were on vacation (would play for the guy and not the girl).
